Tabitha needs your help

Tabitha is a young adult female that came to the shelter before Christmas after spending weeks at the city pound. We thought she was pregnant  it after an examination at the vet, it was determined that she had to have an emergency spay that day because instead of expecting, she had pyometra which is a uterine infection believed to be caused by being unspayed.

Once recovered she returned to the vet with what we thought was a bladder infection. Unfortunately Tabitha has a very large stone in her bladder that needs to be surgically removed. This surgery is estimated to cost $1,200 – $1,500. We are hoping to raise these funds to help pay for the surgery.  We realize funds are tight just after the holidays but we think she’s worth saving.

Donations can be made directly to Humber Valley Veterinary Clinic or by etransfer to Please give what you can….no amount is too small.
