We will not be admitting any owner-surrendered cats at this time as we have reached our capacity of cats at the shelter.
As per our policy set by the Board of Directors, our priority is to take in animals seized by police. Our second priority is to take in stray animals. If we have space available after these community needs have been met, we may then accept pets being surrendered by their families.
if you are in need of rehoming a cat, we suggest that you put a request on classifieds and we can help spread the word by sharing your post.
We are full again! What a great time to come down and adopt a new four-legged friend! Check out our CATS FOR ADOPTION page to see who is available for adoption!
We are in great need of clumping litter!
We are always in need of:
- Clumping litter
- Non-clumping litter
- Dry kitten food
- Dry cat food
Got a picky cat? We accept bags that are already opened too!
Donations can be dropped off in our bins at the following locations:
- Colemans (The Gardens and Caribou Road
- Western Pet Supply
- SPCA on Connors Rd during regular hours.
Thank you 🙂
Please be advised that the shelter will be closed to the public until further notice in order to prevent an outbreak of an upper respiratory virus in the cats.
Individuals that need to drop off an application or payment may come in to do so, however visiting animals will not be permitted. All of our available pets can be viewed on our adoption page or in our Facebook albums “cats for adoption” or “dogs for adoption”
Thank you for your understanding.
